ASK: Attract, arts-friendly, non-ballet-going Coloradans to come check out THEIR ballet. SOLUTION: Theme each season based on the collection of productions. Then, promote each ballet as an entertainment experience different from the other, but all together, make a season ticket worth purchasing.

COLORADO BALLET

FEATURED: “A Season of Timeless Stories” How do you get patrons back into the theatre after a pandemic? We played upon their curiosity.“How’s the Ballet gonna tell these classic stories we all know through dance?” If you look closely, you’ll see we used the visual aesthetic of embossed book covers to support our storytelling theme.

22/23 SEASON

FEATURED: “In the Balance” Colorado Ballet followed up with a season of productions whose plots centered upon the conflict between good and bad forces, whether internal or external. As with all good stories, the resolution of these narratives hung “in the balance.”

ANOTHER SEASON

As the world reopened from the pandemic, we proposed a shoot featuring the company of dancers, who, like you, were absolutely jubilant to be back doing what they love. Colorado Ballet had miraculously survived and they wanted to announce they’d be back at the Ellie Caulkins Opera House. Tutus and pointe shoes be damned. Here were the dancers of your Colorado Ballet, humans just like you, in street clothes sharing their absolute joy to be back.
